  • Church Picnic

Our annual church picnic will be on Sunday, August 25th, following the service. Plan to join us! We will be serving hot dogs, so please bring a dish to pass if you are able. Email office@moranpark.org if you are able to help host or grill.

  • Opportunities for prayer

Did the recent messages stir your heart towards prayer? We hope so! If you're hoping to grow in prayer, here are several opportunities throughout the week:

SUNDAYS: 9-9:30a in the Center Office at Moran Park. Cover the Sunday morning service with intentional prayer.

MONDAYS: 6-6:30a at the VanDrunen residence (email staci@moranpark.org for the address). We will pray over Moran Park.

WEDNESDAYS: 12:15-12:45p in the Cafe at Moran Park. Drop in over your lunch break to cover Moran Park in prayer.

THURSDAYS: 9-10a at the DeKruyter Residence (email staci@moranpark.org for the address). A time of prayer following some worship, specifically for women to be encouraged and to grow in prayer, both personal and corporate.

    FIRST SUNDAYS OF THE MONTH:

Prophetic Ministry -- 11:45-12:15 in the Community Room. Though MP incorporates prayer ministry into each of our Sunday services, members of our prophetic team are also available for extended personal ministry on the first Sunday of every month following the service. Sign-up atmoranpark.org under Ministries.

Missions Prayer -- 11:45-12:15 in the Center Office. Many members of our family have been sent-out across the country and around the world to minister the Gospel. Join us in supporting them in prayer.

  • Back Row

Many of you are familiar with Back Row, our ministry that matches haves and needs within our body. We've been encouraged to see this ministry grow, and more and more of our body caring for each other in practical ways.

We are currently in need of school transportation for a student who attends Holland Heights and lives near 24th St. and College.

Please email joy@moranpark.org if you are able to help us bless our family in these ways.

  • Sidlauskas visit

We loved having Mike Sidlauskas and his ministry partner, Morne, visit us a few weeks ago to update us about their work in Robertson, South Africa. Click here to find-out more about what the Sidlauskas family is working on, and ways that you can partner with them.

  • JOy Makers Outreach

Joy Makers Project is a locally-based ministry that seeks to spread the Gospel by encountering people with joy.

Each week this summer, Joy Makers will be hosting a creative outreach that is designed to create a joy-filled connection that bridges conversations into sharing the Gospel and blessing people with prayer.

Outreaches will be on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm at 184 E 7th St., and each will begin with a time of training and empowering you to live a lifestyle of evangelism.

For more information, email Kailey at connect@joymakersproject.com.

  • New Staff

We have welcomed several new members to our team over the past few months. Al Brookhouse joined us as our new Facilities Coordinator, and Joy Hartman has come onboard as our Care Coordinator. We are also so thankful for new interns and volunteers who have stepped-in to bless our body.

  • 92 West

After months of prayerfully seeking the Lord, we are excited to announce that Kim and Scott DeYoung and their family will be living at 92 West this upcoming year. Kim and Scott own La Crême in downtown Zeeland and live lives of everyday discipleship through hospitality, service, and relationships.

  • Building Changes

There has been a lot of construction happening around our building, and it's still ongoing. Here's what you need to know:
    • Our elevator is pending modernization. We have a big obstacle: Streams of living water flow beneath our building, and they're currently (pun intended) in our way. Redirecting this water is a big expense. Pray that, when the waters sweep by, they would not overwhelm us (Isaiah 43:2).

    • We will be getting new carpet in the auditorium in a few weeks. Email al@moranpark.org if you are able to help with moving pews.

    • Our copy room has moved to the Center Office, and the copy room has now become Joy Hartman's office.
Whew! We're looking forward to our building no longer being a construction zone, but we thank the Lord for His provision in these projects.
  • Worship

Every Tuesday evening this summer there is worship and fellowship at 646 Washington Ave in Holland from 7:30-10pm. This is a great space to meet Jesus-centered community and to spend time resting and worshipping in the presence of the King.
